CARMICHAEL TENDER FOR PROPOSED UPGRADE TO SALESFORCE CRM

nonprofits in Ireland. Our training, support and resources enable our
members and partners to be:

REQUIREMENTS
Carmichael currently uses Salesforce to manage various parts of the
organisation including our Training and Consultancy Programme. The
programme is made up of:
* Customised training
* Consultancy projects
* Scheduled training
* eLearning and
* Informal Support.
Presently these services are managed within Salesforce using the
standard Salesforce Contacts and Organisation objects and in addition
it uses the Programme, Courses and Enrolment objects from an
additional suite of apps. It also uses a Trainer object to link
specific trainers to the delivery of a specific course.
This system configuration has been in place for several years and
needs to be upgraded to provide improved support for current
operations. The purpose of the upgrade is to help reduce the manual
effort involved with certain administrative support tasks, to help
streamline key processes and to enable the organisation to meet and
service the growing demand for training, and in particular web-based
courses.
We are inviting proposals for a system upgrade. The following
requirements will need to be addressed:
* Review and adjust the structure of the Programme and Course suite
of objects and record types to align better with the specific needs of
the different service lines
* Add new data fields and remove redundant fields on page layouts
across the suite of Programme and Courses objects and also the
Contacts, Organisation and Trainer objects
* Accommodate the intake of needs assessment information in relation
to customised work enquiries
* Intake course bookings and payments details for scheduled training
and eLearning courses from the web into Salesforce
* Streamline the communications exchanges with our eLearning partner
in relation to eLearning platform bookings
* Accommodate the intake of course evaluation forms
* Provide a facility to send email template communications to course
participants and the issuing of pro-forma invoices (template) to those
booking courses
* Streamline and automate many of the Administrative processes that
are currently engaged in
* Streamline the process for requesting invoices and the tracking of
payments
* Update activity and performance report.
